Funeral Receptions for Fallen Officers

The Henrico County Police Foundation uses the funds it gathers from donations to enact several programs for the benefit of the Henrico County Division of Police. These programs include hosting the annual Division of Police Anniversaries, funding the Police Memorial Park, and paying for funeral receptions for fallen officers.

Appreciation Luncheon

The Henry W. Stanley, Jr. Scholarship fund was established in recognition of Henry W. Stanley's years of service to the citizens of Henrico County. Henry Stanley first joined the Henrico County Division of Police in 1962, rose through the ranks and was promoted to Chief in 1995. Chief Stanley retired from the Henrico County Division of Police in April 2011. This scholarship is presented by the Henrico Police Foundation to assist children of the employees of the Henrico County Division of Police Department who are planning to pursue further study or training beyond high school. These funds can be used for tuition, books or other school related cost and will be paid directly to the educational institution.
